Lose Weight Fast

You probably think you have a good idea of what is ‘good’ for you and what isn’t even though we too often choose to ignore that information.

It’s a sort of common knowledge that fast food is generally recognized as unhealthy, although some places are improving. Grocery stores are displaying products with labels claiming everything from ‘light’ to ‘low fat’ to ‘net carbs’ and ‘sugar alcohols?’ As a personal trainer and health and fitness nut, even I sometimes get confused. The question I get asked most often, however, is this, “How do I lose weight fast?” This question is asked so often in fact, that it is often among the top ten Googled phrases in any given month!

I feel like I answer this question so often that I could recite the answer backward while running with the bulls in Pamplona. I Frustrated Dieterhave come to believe that nobody likes my answer. I will try to put the same answer in new words. The following is my attempt to help you lose as much weight as possible without putting yourself in physical danger.

There is one key item to remember when trying to lose weight. Weight loss is not just an event that happens and then you continue to live how you did before you lost weight. Weight loss is something that I assume all of you would like to be permanent, right? You must then make the following suggestions a permanent part of your life.

1.White is the new BAD!

It is pretty safe to say that if the food you are about to eat is white, it is probably loaded with carbohydrates or calories or both. Stay a galactic distance away from bread, rice (yes, even brown), cereal, potatoes, fried foods, tortillas, pasta and just about anything with breading of any sort. If the food you are about to eat is white, was white or will be white, just picture every bite adding another roll to your body in a place you don’t want rolls. Whiter = Wider.

2. Eat outside the box

The wise and infinitely energetic fitness guru Jack Lalanne once said, “if it’s in a box, don’t eat it.” Lalanne suggested selecting foods from the outside of the grocery store. That is usually where the unprocessed foods are located. Boxed foods are typically loaded with fattening carbs, sodium and pretty much anything else that causes cancer, obesity, diabetes or death. Stick to veggies, eggs, chicken, lettuce or fish. Boxes will make you look like a balloon.

3. Don’t drink your calories

Sugar is white; therefore, according to weight loss rule #1, sugar is bad. If your soda or beverage of choice has double-digit sugar grams, shame on you. Pour it out and smack your hand. To make it easy, stick to drinking water, green tea or coffee – all with minimal sweeteners of any sort and limit creamer to two tablespoons. Red wine has shown to extend life expectancy and lower blood pressure. Limit Red wine to two glasses daily. White wine? See rule #1 about the color white.

4. Give the doctor his fruit back

An apple a day, or orange, or whatever fruit will not keep the doctor away. Don’t eat it. I know, I know. “The media says its good for me and there is even fruit on that pyramid thing that’s on my cereal box.” Put the cereal AND the fruit down. NOW! You will be fine without fruit every day. It is loaded with that evil white sugar hidden behind the name fructose. Our body will turn that sugar to stored fat so fast that last year’s swimsuit will be this year’s oil rag in the garage. Fruit juice is no exception. Some fruit juices, yes those cute bottles of fruit-flavored sugar water we give to our kids, are even worse than sodas for sugar content. There are some obvious objections to this rule, but for the sake of losing weight as quick and long-term as possible, just say no.

5. Take a day off

Watching what you eat can be stressful and boring. Allow yourself one day a week (my “cheat day” is usually Sunday) to eat the cookies in the office, steal your kids Easter candy, and order that pie for desert. The funny thing is, when you dramatically spike your calorie intake once a week, it actually promotes fat-loss by not allowing your metabolism to plateau. Limit this heavenly fat-filled, no calorie counting euphoria to only once per week and watch your belly shrink back to size.

So there you have it. The same rules I tell all my clients. It’s not hard. Think about it. You now only have to shop the outside of the grocery store. You need only to buy a small number of items. You can still eat crappy foods. You lose weight. I think I just may have made your life a little easier. Follow these rules and don’t listen to fancy marketing or late night infomercials.

When you feel like you’re losing sight of what to believe, return to this blog and read it once again.

  1. Love what you’re doing – BEAUTIFUL WEBSITE! I’ve been reducing bad sugar and it’s actually easier than I thought it would be once the right “lifestyle” choice is decided. I love the Jack Lalanne quote – when I heard him say it I was stunned to realize just how programmed I was to be a grocery store slave who never investigated avenues for eating in a more back-to-nature (cut out the processed food-slinging middleman) way. Thanks for the article!

    1. Heckuva good job. I sure appercitae it.

          1. right their Im watching my body lallriety transform right before my eyes However, this diet is only for the strong minded. You can NOT cheat what so ever and you have to be STRONG. I honestly dont recomend this diet to anybody.

  2. Furerlaz? That’s marvelously good to know.

    1. Geez, that’s unbeelivable. Kudos and such.

  3. Wonderful effort have been put on this page, really good to read and very helpful.i should have visited and learned something from this site.

  4. Those are indeed good way to lose weight, and i have no doubt that it can offer good results fast.

    1. not to inject dunrig your period is because your body actually produces HCG dunrig the menstrual cycle. I may be wrong, anyone feel free to correct me. So injecting on those days would be a waste of your HCG. Also, the more HCG in your system, the faster you become immune. If I were you I would go ahead and start loading now to get your normal fat reserves up and then start injecting and loading for two more days after the period. I know I loading for a week this round, only because I have been on so many diets before and I wanted to make sure my normal fat reserves were full. I am on my 9th day now, and have not had even the slightest bit of hunger the whole week.See the first week is sometimes hard since you may get hunger pangs, that is why we load, so that our body can run off our normal fat for the first few days and keep us content until the hcg gets into our system and mobilizes the abnormal fat.Try to eat very high fat food, on my loading I had fried chicken, buttered biscuits, chocolate, donuts, peanut butter cups, chips, etc. LOL I feel so strange telling you to eat all that but enjoy it!Also, whenever I am in the kitchen I wear gloves, only because I live with 8 other people and there is no telling what has oil on it. That’s right, even a drop of oil touching your skin will keep you from losing the next day. Be careful! Check all spices and foods for any sugar, oil, sugar alcohol, or aspartame(BAD).As far as shampoo and conditioner, I am using the same I normally do. I have just reduced washing my hair to once or twice a week. I have curly hair so this is actually keeping my waves a bit more hydrated. The easiest thing is to just use your normal shampoo and conditioner and just wash your hair less. But expect to not lose on the day you shampoo and condition. Normal showers are fine though, with -bar soap with no oil in ingredients-, just rinse your hair with water or use a shower cap.Btw, you WILL gain a lot of weight on your load days but don’t worry, you will lose every ounce of it within the first few days! I have started the Dr. Simeon’s Protocol (original and only true HCG diet) about 5 times but different circumstances forced me to stop. I am finally able to do a full round, hopefully with no interuptions. It has been 9 days:I started at 178 (after loading)I am now at 165Round 1 Goal .148 or less ^_^A note, DO NOT freeze your HCG, no matter what anyone tells you. Just refrigerate. I lost a $70 bottle of HCG because I listened to someone else and froze it. HCG is very fragile and freezing ruins it.Also, we can have vinegar and cucumbers on the diet, so some people say that means we can also have pickles. I have them sometimes. It’s up to you, I have been losing fine. Just another thing you may consider if you get bored with your food.Another note , there is a diet soda called Zevia, that is sweetened with Stevia (a sweet plant). Zevia has no calories, no sugar, its all natural. I found a few cans at my local Whole Foods store for 99cents a can. I’ve had two cans in a week and a half, it tastes better than regular diet soda. Its nice to keep around for when you get a craving for soda. But don’t overdo it.Email me if you have any other questions, I have a lot of tips for ya! BIGGEST THING TO REMEMBER! WATER < TEA < COFFEE GET YOUR LIQUIDS IN and DONT EAT PAST 7PM (so your body has plenty of time to digest and flush out all the food and your weight in the morning will be correct)

  5. There are lots of ways on how you can lose weight, but the ones you have provided here are indeed out of the box. there is really no reason not to lose weight if one follows it.

    1. I also did the hcg and on my first round I lost 30 in 30 days. Since then I have attempted to do the 2nd round but was not in the right mind set. I am now, and just sttread again. It does work, but you have to be in the right mind set, and make sure you are prepared (preparing your meals in advance!)I would also recommend this to anyone.

  6. I like the all the mentioned tips for weight loss. Weight loss is not easy; we have to make a good plan for this. Like A Good Weight Loss Diet Plan. The most important thing about any diet plan is to keep your caloric intake below the amount of calories you burn.

    1. Just do me a favor and keep writing such trenchant alnyaess, OK?

  7. All the 5 suggestions are very necessary to follow in our daily routine. But as you know our life style, it makes it difficult. I am not saying it impossible but a little bit tough for me.

    1. Whvoeer wrote this, you know how to make a good article.

      1. This is a very strict diet. You need to read the book that exalpins everything. I started my drops the last two days of my period. Those were my loading days. The third day I started the low calorie portion. I saw a steady decline. I averaged 2 pounds a day the first week, then 1 pound a day until I stopped at the beginning of my next period. That was using 25 days of drops. I lost 28 pounds. I am working on phase 3 now. I have not gained any weight back. I have not lost anymore, which is peculiar. I am eating no starches or sugars. Next week I will start adding starches one day a week.I would recommend as long as you can handle the low calorie portion and limiting oils go for it. You may not loose anything on your heaviest days, which is discouraging. My biggest motivator was watching the weight drop daily. The lost continues after the flow slows. Hormonal maybe.Good luck

  8. Losing weight is an ambitious but workable objective. The more details you have, the greater chances you have of succeeding.
